I am a super optimist for this fixture and go 5-0 to TUFC.

I think the lads will be up for this big time and determined to get us off to a good start. COYY.

Moxey, Ash and Tomlinson were all here last season, would expect Moxey and Ash to start the opening game. We have looked far from ready so far, which is to be expected, our opponents know they have nothing to lose so I could see us losing this one. But can’t predict an opening day home defeat, so 0-0 it is, in front of 2,900.

I'd be surprised if Moxey started and have to say Ash too

I've been to three of the PSF's its difficult say as there are so many new players it's difficult at the moment to know who they all are. Of course Tomlinson, and Moxey were here last season I totally forgot about them in a previous post I don't see either as regular starters, Ash hard to say.

Hamon is going to be no1 choice goalkeeper, does command his area well, been a bit erratic however, maybe down to nerves perhaps, seem to settle in the second half v Exeter.

Dreyer has been the stand out defender, think he starts, with Dyer and Tonks who's caught the eye as an attacking full back, who starts with them not sure.

In midfield Threlkeld I believe has been made captain, certainly showed a lot of calmness and experience, almost like having a younger version of Asa Hall, and Mussa I really like this lad, no surprise he'd become a fans favourite by the end of the City game, who else I don't know there.

Upfront, haven't seen enough especially as the last two games were against much higher opposition, our forwards didn't really have much of chance shine, Cooke as an established goal scorer you'd expect to be a starter, but isn't it nice to have four, forwards on books unlike last season.

In PW we have a manager who seems to favour wing back/attacking full back system, much the same as GJ, but unlike the previous incumbent has signed players to fit his philosophy, rather trying then the other was around.

Torquay to win 2-0

Decent crowd around the 4,000 mark.

Feel good factor all around the ground.
