I cannot say for certain he has equally as you cannot say he hasn't. Hence, I was just asking the question.

I concur that gambling is a fun event for many people from any walk of life. Nonetheless, for some, gambling often goes from a fun, harmless diversion to an unhealthy obsession with serious consequences. Firstly, start by dispelling the myth that you have to gamble regularly to be a problem gambler. Gambling is a problem if it causes a problem and to brush this aside in exchange for 'being one of the lads' is missing the point, particularly when it is common knowledge that any football-related gambling activity is strictly prohibited for footballers in the top eight tiers.

However, as alway, I am prepared to bow to your knowledge or lack of on this matter.

Denial of an issue is usually the first red flag for any addiction counsellor, like so many professional sports people they have too much free time available to them it is very easy to be sucked into pursuits that may already be endemic at their particular club, he knew what he was doing was against FA regulations and accepted the penalty accordingly. He is relatively young, he can come back from this and make a good living as a pro footballer.

Good move by the club tbh. Cannot afford to pay an employee that cannot work. Imagine the door is open for possible return next season too.
