Torquay United v Worthing Tue 22nd 7.45 KO
The team face a very strong Worthing side off the back of a well earned point at Eastbourne, considering a the artificial surface at Eastbourne the fact they're above us in the league and have a genuinely strong team, I, for the life of me can't understand how any TUFC fan wouldn't view that that as a point won.
Tuesdays opponents along with Eastbourne are among the pack of genuine good teams at this level, can't be underestimated for sure, our respective league records thus far evenly matched, Worthing sit just 2 points behind us, and current form shows both TUFC and Worthing picked up 8 points from their last 5 games.
However its worth noting that whilst Worthing with 17 goals scored are among the higher scorers in the division, with 19 goals conceded are also towards the bottom in terms of a leaky defence, however Worthing come into this match of the back of 2 straight wins, so be warned we're in for a hard fought game here.
Just like to add a personal not here, we all know in the summer we came as close as we have at any point in our history to losing our club for ever, I will admit to being a tad nervous as to how our fanbase would react to the new ownership talking about sustainability, which was always going to lead to a downsizing of the playing side of the club.
Would the attendance figures hold up, would enough people support the community share issue, well with an average gate 3,500, and the CSI hitting double it's target, this is beyond incredible, from the the signage, to the paint work and cleanliness in and outside the ground, to the communication from the club, the improvements in just 5 months are there for us all to see.
Taking into account a new manager, a new squad which isn't the finished article, we know this because PW/NW are actively seeking new recruits, to see us 4 points off top spot with a game in hand, scoring @ 1.9 points per game, in my opinion puts us well ahead of schedule, I think the club will get stronger on and off the field as the season progress's, of course there may be steps backwards to go forwards, so I just urge fans not to wear rose tinted glasses, but just look at things with your glass half full. Narrow win here.

Allowing my heart to rule my head and going for 2 - 1 win to The Gulls.
TUFC 1 - 0 Worthing
I think a comfortable win for Torquay. 3-0.
3-2….Worthing will score but hopefully not enough.

On 26th August Truro beat Worthing 5-0 which makes me hope we can take 3 points. However since then Worthing have shown that they will be hard to beat and Cashman is a very dangerous opponent.
My main concern is our strikers just 6 goals from 11games.
After 31 days without a Home game we should attract a good gate and I have 6 friends coming to their first ever game at Plainmoor. I so hope we win.
I go 2=1 United. A lot of rain recently but hopefully not an issue as we have the best pitch in the League. COYY.
