If Torquay are going to kick off at 1945 local fish and chip shops should consider extending their closing hours till 2230 in case of referees finding extra time out of nowhere. Just saying.

Thanks Dave. I guess it was a timeout.

Well, if the disallowed goal was onside there was no protest from Worthing. If it was a bad call, then that cancels out Cooke's disallowed goal from a couple of weeks back. It happens to all teams, but as they say, these things seem to even out over the season. I might need Specsavers, but there was a lot of calls of 'offside' from many fans on the Popular side, it wasn't just my opinion. I wonder if the Bristow's Bench fans have the same view of it?

I sit on Bristow's and was in line with our last man. Miles onside. A few half-hearted calls for offside but everyone could see he was on.

If you look at the video footage on the link posted by Louis on the previous page I'm sure you'll change your mind. That said, the specsavers comment was purely tongue in cheek, no offence intended.

No offence taken Southampton. It's obviously amazing how we all see the same incident in a different way. There was no mention of it on the Worthing site, for what it's worth.

I've just watched the video of the match half a dozen times, the camera is dead in line with the play for that pass, and I have to agree now that he was onside at the moment the ball was passed to him. By the time he received the ball he was in an offside position, which is what people like me saw! As indeed as the lino saw it too. I certainly wouldn't say he was miles on side. It was a very tight decision. If the lino had been up with play he wouldn't have flagged.
