Could we perhaps have a "sticky" on this thread, so as new dates are announced, the post can be edited and we all know about it?

That set of pre-season fixtures looks just about right for us. Never going to be any crowds at them but a chance to see the new boss whoever he maybe.

As for the cup draw I dont think we can get West Ham, fairly sure the relegated premiership sides come into the competition in the next round.

For the first league game it would be ironic if it was Bristol Rovers. We did have them twice a few years ago, once home and once away. A nice little trip to Cheltenham wouldnt go amiss, not too far hopefully a sunny day and not midweek for a change!

Will never get who we want on the first day so get ready for Crawley :red:

The team that finishes bottom of the premier league starts in the 1st round but you are right that the other two don't come in till the 2nd round.

Ideal first day of the season would be somewhere localish away with a good away end.

As for the League Cup, Reading away would be lovely.
