Date of New Manager Appointment

When will the big announcement be made?
Perhaps if we all contributed £10 per guess we could use the money to help the club subsidise Guy Branston's new contract.
My guess is Thursday 9th of June - the cheque is in the post!!!

Still a week away according to the report by chris rodgers on the herald express web page, hoping to make a decision the week commencing June 13. I dont know how accurate this is but hopefully we will have some news by then! The board are meeting tomorrow morning and hoping to finalise the 3/4 shortlist then. It does say they have interviewed some of the early contenders and will continue over the next few days. Shorely they must be able to move things along quicker than this?!!

I have kept calm because i understand fully the importance of the club making the right appointment,however reading the atricle in the H/E i am now hoping thats a bit of a smoke screen to be honest,because i have read and fully understood the quote from Bill Phillips ,i does not acually say there will be an apppointment within 7-10 days at all,the quote is;

The interviewing process has already begun," reported director in charge Bill Phillips yesterday.

"We're now drawing up a shortlist and we'll be speaking to them as quickly as possible.

"We will be looking to make a decision in the week commencing June 13."

making a decision in week commecing the 13th of June to me means from the 13th to the 20th June ,if the appointment of a manager goes past the 13th my patience will be tried,tested and most likely lost.

2 weeks+ for a new manager? Surely it's quicker than that if; as they say, the club has a few applicants...we're going to fall further behind.
