Busy Summer

Busy Summer indeed!
Aside from trying to establish a new spine to the squad with hopefully some useful additions over the next month or two
and not only a new grandstand and improvements to the training facilities, the club finds itself with an online shop riddled with players of the past!

Just had a look to see if anything had changed and there are pictures of Benyon, Wroe, Branston and Hargreaves (amongst others) promoting TUFC products!
Perhaps it's the 'kiss of death' to be asked to parade in our merchandise? Or perhaps they should be modelled by the Youth Team?
Whatever happens, the site needs an overhaul as it would be laughable to start the season with players that have long since gone (even if not forgotten).

News on the new kit would also be nice as my boys have outgrown their old ones!

Completely agree. The online shop is a joke and yes we are a small club with minimal staff and facilities but for Gods sake this is where all the clubs money is made apart from tickets, sponsors and other minor incomes!! They should be on the ball and its embarrassing. Benyon left in January! Unbelievable. Not even a photo of the new kit for people to look at. They take the piss. Do they want custom?

Whatever happened to that photographer who used to take the really poor pictures for the website several years back? Had curly hair, looked very much like a train spotter and had literally no idea how to take a photo with a level floor, they were always at an angle.

Is he still taking pictures? Must be worth getting the photographer in for a day to take some photos of the players in the new kits.
Luke.

If you dig around deep enough you can find pics of Andy McFarlane modelling the latest TUFC pencil cases.

Agree regarding the new kit.

Fair enough if it is out of their hands and they can;t get it in stock this early as we are lower down the footballing ladder than other clubs so Vandanel have to sort their priorities but i would at the very least love to see the complete new kit so i could get excited about it and get ready with my cash to buy one! - This is the kind of attitiude the club should be looking to encourage and with this sort of 'tacky' delay it is most frustrating!
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

Do we know who else are using Van this season and if they are already promoting their kits? It would be a shame if Margate (or whoever it was mentioned in another thread regarding Van kit design) already had theirs for sale or at least advertised on their site. It would prove that it has nothing to do with the supplier and more to do with the club!

Port Vale released their new away kit made by Vandanel earlier this month:

Does surprise me that a lot of clubs are able to get their Vandanel kit released a lot earlier. Maybe it's Torquay that only have problems regarding kit release dates etc.
