I'm still hoping that the singers and drum are at the halfway line tomorrow. Do we have any new songs ? I think it will be a draw ( also feeling a little cautious )

Wasn't it Burton who brought more flags than fans down last season?

Really cannot wait for this one, just wish I didn't live 5 hours drive away because I'd love to see the atmosphere today. Got me GullsPlayer ready for some terrible local radio!

I haven't been this excited about the start of the season for ages.

I just have a good feeling about today - it appears that the "feel-good" factor has arrived at the club, and Dinger has made some shrewd signings in my opinion. Would love to see us win, and win well, with some of the new signings getting assists and on the scoresheet.

I guess all will be revealed at 4.45.

Can't wait!!

We set up the flags yesterday with some in the middle and some down the end. We're planning on taking the drum down the end for the first half, then probably coming back to the middle for the second half.

Buzzing for this one!

Finally Saturdays are back to normal, or at least they will be in a little over three hours. I did manage to get to the Truro match in the end and I'm happy with what I saw. I don't offer predictions too often as I'm rarely right so I'll just say COYY! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

I'd better not. Sod's law I'd be right for once and I'd have to live with the guilt of jinxing the team and go into hiding for fear of a yellow mob. It just doesn't bear thinking about. :)

i feel supremely confident for this one and have consequently placed the following bets:-

torquay -1 9/4
torquay -2 6/1
torquay 4-1 kee anytime scorer 40/1
torquay 4-1 howe anytime scorer 45/1

i wish sheffield wasnt so far away from devon! still i've got my trusty pc, with 23" monitor, gulls player sub and the free use of several streaming sites!! cant wait

come on the dons and the gulls!! lets wipe that smug grin off the weasels face, torquay top, buckle bottom!!

Seems right to me, only Nico in from the team I predicted in the 'Probable Line Up vs. The Brewers' thread a couple weeks back.

Ling has said in a couple of interviews it is up to Danny Stevens to show some consistency and KEEP his place in the team, which indicated he would be starting the first game. Not a huge deal that Kee doesn't start, good player to bring on if we need a goal.
