I wouldn't blame him if he didn't know yet, as long as he has various options. Nathan Craig seems a decent prospect but I don't think anyone is sure he could go straight into the first team, so I do hope Lingy has some "fingers in pies" with some other options.

My 87 year old Gran offers more than McPhee and Atieno. On the downside, the "kick racism out of football" campaign would take a step in the wrong direction...mickyflash wrote: From what I saw on Tuesday, I think he offers more than McPhee or Atieno

Morris could be the one to benefit out of this. Yet to see his best but I think Dinger may put his faith in him and is possibly looking at Nathan as back-up with the potential to bring him through.cambgull wrote:I wouldn't blame him if he didn't know yet, as long as he has various options. I've met your gran, Camb, she's surprisingly good in the air, but her first touch is dreadful :~D

My gran is a complete racist, she's off that generation where is was OK to use the term "Gollywog" and various others.ferrarilover wrote: Have I missed something, or is this a joke?

As for good in the air, well I'll ignore the connotations you're getting at and inform you she is shorter than Danny Stevens and if she jumps she'll probably break a hip. Otherwise, she could well be the 87 year old version of Lionel Messi.

I believe that we should put a stop to these type of comments on a public banter board. Just saying.

James Constable is set to hold talks with Swindon after a much improved bid had been accepted. Now if he does sign for Swindon then surley Bodin will not be needed or involved. With the likes of Benson, Connell, Murray, De Vita, Ritchie always seem to be involved in Di Canos plans. Then with the signing of Rooney and now possibily Constable i cant see Bodin getting many minutes on the pitch.
Also if he does sign i really think Swindon will be up there in the automatics and even pushing for 1st. They are building a decent side. Also if Oxford lose there star forward this could be a positive for any play off push we may have.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

If Swindon don't get promoted this year it will be ridiculous with the number of signings they've made - big money signings too. Connell was circa £150k, Constable is going to be that again at least, Rooney is also 6 figures, and with the others it must be over half a million. To have a cracking youngster like Billy, who's future at the club is entirely out of his own hands and controlled by how many big money strikers are brought in ahead of him, is a crazy (and unhealthy) way for a L2 side to operate.
