So you were going past the ground in the 80s?! :)

Good pictures though pal, hopefully it can kick on now.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

Great photos Walshy, nice to see that things are getting well underway. How ironic that at the very time you provide the 'All things Plainmoor' section with only it's third all capital letters thread heading of 2012 that the capital 'I' should let you down so badly in the body of your post ;-)

No worries! Will get some more tomorrow.

I did notice today that a lot more of the framework has been put up, with the roof being slightly lower with framework connecting it to the top of the poles. Hard to explain, you'll see in the photos tomorrow.

Great to see. I think we've all been waiting for the moment when things start to get constructive rather than destructive over on that side of the pitch.

It looks like there's going to be a bit of terracing at the front if the stand like in the old grandstand except proper terracing not just a couple of steps. This should add to the capacity of the stand. I think I read somewhere that the capacity will be 6500, but surely it will be more than that? Anyone know any different?

i dont think there are plans for any standing parry??

the capacity of the stand as a whole is a paltry 1750! bringing total capacity of plainmoor to 6500, i assume that was what you meant, not 6500 in the new stand?

Yeah that is what I meant. From the design pictures it looks like there's standing on the bottom and also the seats of the skeleton stand there at the moment only come down so far.

you're right mate, there def are figures standing on the projection you posted. great news if true, but amazed that new stands are allowed to be built with dreaded dangerous terraces!!
