I seem to vaguely remember a few managers getting the boot after playing against Torquay
Ian McParland got the sack after Torquay came back from 2.0 down to draw 2.2 at Notts County, but there have been a few more I think over the last few years

Fair play to Peschisolido for giving us praise on radio Derby after the game, unlike some managers would have done (Evans). Talking to Burton fans before the game even after this terrible run he is still well liked and respected, a good football man!

Seemed a good bloke and i feel a bit guilty for singing, 'You're getting sacked in the morning' yesterday. I've nothing against him but if you don't win enough football matches at any level nowadays you'll get the boot simple as. I'm not surprised the Burton fans wished him well as many of them congratulated me in my Gulls shirt after the game yesterday for our teams performance. Nice touch and they seem a really great bunch of fans. I didn't hear them booing yesterday either.

Interesting you say that they're a good group of fans because they were a complete bunch if tosspots when they came down for the FA Cup game in..2004, 2005 time? The one we lost 2-1 with a Steve Woods own goal.

this was in the bookies that I ran, before the game. a group of about 20 lads came in shouting "what price are Burton to beat your tinpot team today?", that sort of stuff. they all had some money on Burton, not a huge amount, but when I came back from the game (in a foul mood, it had to be said) they were already there waiting to get paid.

So I made the buggers wait for half an hour

Probably not indicative of their whole fanbase, but I remember being irked by their attitude..as I recall they were top of the conference at the time, so I don't know if these were long-time fans or not.

Maybe i just avoided all the knobheads Happy and got lucky. As for them booing the fourth Nick i honestly couldn't hear as we were just singing all the time and cheering so missed it.
