Don't know about Bookies.(give yer wallet a rest man hehe) But chippies there are. I am sure there is at least on on Babbacombe road. But if you venture down into Cary Park and just up to the main road, There is the famous chippy Hanbury's. They serve a delightful helping. And for Pubs (you should be going to Boots anyway) there is also the Union (landlord a Bristol Rovers fanatic.) good a good ribbing no doubt.

Looking forward to today's game, hoping for 3 points! I think we need to get a win today, to bounce straight back from a defeat and become real contenders for an automatic spot!

I'm also hoping to do a match report for this game as I haven't done one for a while!

In fairness to the system, it has been used to excellent effect for the majority of the season and suits Danny Stevens down to the ground, he looks most dangerous when cutting in with his right foot. As a result Ian Morris has had to adapt accordingly to a position he isn't entirely suited to, and in the main has done a decent job without ever being 'outstanding.' That it has been slightly less effective in recent weeks is perhaps due to Stevens' recovery from injury, he clearly hasn't been 100% fit, but Lingy's decision to get him match fit for the run in by giving him game time has paid dividends and I am hopeful we see the Danny Stevens who won player of the month for february today.

That said, it might be an idea to freshen it up with either Atieno or Jarvis on the right wing, so we do have a right-footer on the right, but in saying that we have won nearly all our games this season with Ian Morris in our team so I believe he deserves his chance to continue to contribute.

3 points is a must today, and if we get the early goal, similar to at Burton, we could be in for another more comfortable victory. Can not wait to get up there!!

Shit! I'm actually in Torquay for a home game. It's madness! Just been down Shaldon beach to clear my head after a long drive and hoping to get my oesophogus reflex disorder under control before i head down to Plainmoor. Every time i cough i sound as though i'm gonna throw up and its pissing me off! I can be walking down the street and wretching with folk thinking i'm a right weirdo. I'M NOT A WEIRDO I'M JUST ILL!! Now where's the bloody Gaviscon?

Might give Boots & Laces a miss as i'm pretty knackered and don't drink before games anyway but i'll have my Gulls shirt on and going on the pop so i might bump into some of you. COYY!!!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Gutted to not be there today having been to the last two away games, there in spirit boys! COYY

Going down to the Banks's Stadium to see Walsall v Stevenage with my mate. Will be interesting to see how Stevenage have progressed since the playoff final, will also try and gauge the gulf in quality between us and League 1.

With Swindon out of our system we can settle down to the run in.
Certain Dinger will have got the lads grounded and focussed for the Vale.
My concern as we round the final bend into the home straight is our stamina/fitness given our small but perfectly formed squad
My head says 0-0 - but my heart is wanting 2-0
Once more I am expecting a Jarvis brace !
