Confirmed in todays herald that the capacity will be 1980 rather than 1750.

Speaking as one of the senile delinquents who for years have populated the back rows of the Pop. side, we (I speak for us all) take offence as being called 'grandads' who 'might get vertigo' if we climb up the new Bristow's Bench stairs. As far as we're concerned, unremitting war with the spotty-faced brigade is now under way.

Doesn't seem very many seats considering the size of the stand. We're talking about football matches here, not the most expensive seats in a modern theatre or cinema, so why does every seat in the stand need so much space?

Have you tried sitting in the family stand? Unless you're the height of Ronnie Corbett, you can't fit in properly. And to add to that, the seat in front has that annoying lip that digs into your knees.

In this case, every inch counts!
Luke.
