How many Gulls on Monday?
How many Gulls on Monday?
Would I be right to look forward to seeing 1000 other Gulls hit the Kassam on Monday? Or perhaps even more?
I'd be surprised if we get that many given that budgets must be beginning to stretched. I shall be there, though, and I hope to see as many Gulls as possible lubricating vocal chords in and around the Priory before the game - it's usually been away fan friendly before if not after matches.

I think you could well be right Nick. Considering our FA Cup game at Sheff U fetched 600 or so Gulls just before Christmas, and i would consider this game much, much, much more important, then it is fair to assume that. Also as Oxford is pretty central UK wise plus it being a bank holiday then i reckon we will get over a thousand.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Hopefully around 1000 go, that would be brilliant. Some fans are doing fancy dress for this game, anyone is welcome to join in!

I'd hope we could muster at least seven or eight hundred for this one. We normally take 300+ for the usual midweek games against them and with this being a Bank Holiday I'd hope to double that at least.
Should be a cracking atmosphere from both sets of fans.

I'll just wear what i normally wear then? =D
Never been to Oxford the city nor the stadium. I understand there is a massive free car park there but on the downside there is nothing around it such as bookies, supermarkets and stuff. Would i be right?

Yeh. There is a big Bowling/Cinema complex that shares the carpark so if you want to get in there, get in very early as with it being a near 9000 gate + bank holiday, that will get full very quickly I'd have thought. We parked in the travelodge behind the home stand last time, hopefully do similar this time.

Theres a Pub called the Priory which welcomes away fans and has a few things going on Monday so I'm told my a mate who surports them.
Hopefully we can get 600+ up there on Monday and get behind the lads for another big game which they all are at this stage of the season.

this fixture was penciled in as the yellow away day earlier in the season, so hopefully a few more than usual had it in their calendar already, and with it now being more important than any of us probably ever expected, i'd hope to see 1000+ there.

I'll be there.
Slightly random question but might bike down. Am I allowed to take my crash helmet into a ground? I've never biked to a game and I can't remember ever seeing anyone with a crash helmet at any game, anywhere?

I'll be there and the missus will be shopping in Oxford as it is a home game for us really. Well, I only live up the road the other side of Bicester. Hope to see you all in the Priory for a pre match pint then? Lots going on there as well. Surprised if we don't get 8 or 900 and the gate should be around 9,000. Will be a great atmosphere as they can't afford to drop many more points and we need to keep getting 3 pointers.
Oblivion!!!!
Any idea if tickets are on sale at Plainmoor today?
