BSP Play-Offs
Anyone else keeping an eye on the conference play-offs. Not that I'm being pessimistic about our promotion chances, but since our days in the non-league, I've always been interested in who comes up into the football league from the play-offs.
with York and Mansfield drawing 1-1 last night, with a certain Matt Green being sent off, it seems that it's advantage Mansfield due to them having home advantage in the second leg.
Also, Luton with a certain manager we all know and love face Wrexham tonight.
Looking at it, I hope Wrexham win because of the Buckle factor.
Would like York to do it because they seem like a nice club, plus with us in League One (hopefully), It's one long journey to miss next season

Na, na na, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, TORQUAY!
Luton 2-0 up. If they come up I hope to god we go up aswell, Luton are a big club who would go right through this league but I wouldn't want Buckle to do well!

I have that picture on my phone!
Oh, and as for 'Luton look a different team now', they don't at all. They were 4 points outside the playoffs when Bucks took over, with two games in hand, leaving them 2 points inside the playoffs. They scraped over the line with two losses and a draw and were lucky that Kiddi also had a poor last few games. He did his best to feck it up. they still finished 30 points (or whatever) behind Wrexham, and of the promotion from that division wasn't such a joke, the Welsh would be taking their place among the 92 elite.
Matt.

It seemed a strangly timed appointment to me too Matt.
I imagine their former boss had a shakey spell, but they were still well on course for a play off spot, as you said. They also seemed to have a pretty simply run-in (bar Fleetwood, who had nothing to play for, and Kiddi). However, i'm sure Bucks will see it as he has overhauled the team into Champions League contenders.

My head wants Mansfield as i am 10 miles away but my heart says York as i still go and watch them now on the odd occasion and i used to live and work nearby. If Luton come up i'm not going. Not because PB is at the helm but because Luton is like Chernobyl.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
