Greetings from Fleetwood Town

Post by JUANTAYLOS »

Greetings from the Cod Army! Hopefully, everyone will enjoy their visit to Highbury for the season opener on the 18th August, and we'll have plenty of banter in the coming weeks leading to the big ko! :-D

Here's a link to The Independent Fleetwood Town Fans Forum. Everyone welcome to pop along and say hi. ;-)

Let's start by you explaining why (in your words) playing Torquay is "not exactly the best opener" :whip: :slap:

Simple. It's because they have to stay in Fleetwood for the game :)

Only for the reason I was hoping for an away day on the opening Saturday. :~D

At least playing yourselves will give us a good indication as to the standard of the better sides of the division. ;-)

I was only playing! By the looks of Fleetwood's forum they do not have that 'big club' attitude and ego that Crawley have adopted! Welcome to the League guys - no bitterness intended but we hope to spoil your big day!
