Im just getting frustrated at the thought of buying the new Football Manager and having to spend extra money to buy back Eunan, so do me a favour mate and just stay !!
Unfortunately, and this seems a point most fans are missing, no team of this type has come in for him. He can't go to a 'bigger club' if non make an offer for him.Join a team with a bit of history about them, a bigger club, more fans, not someone that in terms of infrastructure is on a par with torquay. I could of seen him in a reading type squad (not now there in the premiership) but definetly a Crystal Palace
Why, if only Crawley seem interested in him at £175,000, would he suddenly become a £350,000 player and of interest to others?the best move for him would be to re-negotiate his contract, increase his wage 'slightly' and to increase the minimum fee to £350,000

If you actually read what I write then you will notice my comments are based on him having another great season with us.

well once he had this "£175k" get out clause that was all we could get for him. other clubs might have come in with the same offer but more money for eunan. i find it strange that the club when renegotiating his contract a while ago didnt make the get out clause a bit more, i presume there must be a sell on clause so we could yet get a bit more in time.
good luck to the lad (he will need it there) though, he has been excellent for us.

That is making the assumption he's going to have a 'great season', one that has to be far better than that just gone. If clubs don't see his potential now, after the season just gone, then it's a big gamble to expect them to do so in a years time.If you actually read what I write then you will notice my comments are based on him having another great season with us.
And if he has ambitions to move on and try his hand elsewhere then he is hardly likely to agree to a clause at a figure of £350,000 when the response at £175,000 has been so luke-warm.
I , like most really want Eunan O'Kane to stay here with us, and if your reading this Eunan please stay, however Budliegh makes some very good points and is spot on .
Yes of course us fans want the best for our club, and every penny we can squeeze out of another club for our players is the right way to go about our buisness,in the case of Eunan it is true, if £175k is a bargin price for a player with such talent and potential, why no que, it is just Crawley , no one else has come in so far, why not ? if he is worth so much.
DiCanio is looking to build a squad to go right through league 1, he knows we want Bodin, why has he not come knocking on our door, I have said previuosly I thought £175k was to low, but the evidence is now stacking up, the lack of interest in O'kane, is starting to make me believe that prehaps at £175k our club called it right after all.
