I have a feeling the new stand with seats was installed in the late sixties or early seventies; at first it did not extend the whole width of the pitch, and the family stand as we see it today arrived some years later, perhaps, as Kernowgull mentions, in the early nineties.
I look forward to the day when the family stand, the pop side, and the away end, are enlarged, perhaps even a new and better stadium (with a car park), and the Gulls playing in the Championship!
I always was a dreamer..!!

I'm pleased to see the dugouts have been repositioned.
Were we the only club in the country with both dugouts in the same half of the pitch?

weirdly enough, I actually to spoke to two M'Gladbach supporters in boots and laces before a tq game last year. Father and daughter, really nice people. She was staying over here to do a language course (and was quite hot!), and while her dad was visiting, they decided to come out in their Gladbach sacarves and watch an English game. Unfortunately we made the mistake of saying that we were going to Germany next month to watch a Dortmund game and have a look at Westfalenstadion. They were'nt too impressed!

It's great to see a new stand there at long last, but, and I hate to say this, the design of it does look quite ugly, and not half as good as Exeter City's...

I'm probably being really picky here, but wouldn't it make sense to have all of the stairs facing the nearest entry/exit? If the entrance is still by the Family Stand, why are 3 of 4 sets of steps in Ollie's picture facing the wrong way?!
Luke.

I suppose it should be possible for alterations/improvements to be made in the distant future, finances permitting.
