Torquay Fans Fantasy Football?

Post by stevegull »

I was thinking of starting a league on Fantasy Premier League just for us gulls fans but thought I shoud gauge interest first to make sure I'm not sat in a league by myself!

So if you could just comment if you are interested and if there's enough I'll set up the league and post the link to the site and the code for the league on here.

Don't use this thread to complain about Premier League football.

I'd be up for it, there was one last year with around 15-20 involved. Just do it and people will join when they get around to it. Would be good if our friends from other clubs would join too.

Would be great Steve but what about if someone did a fantasy 'league 2' league where we pick players that are exclusively from l2 clubs and we get points for goalscorers etc. Would be a hell of a lot more interesting than that namby pamby premier league and all the fairies in it.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I completely agree tbh. I spent ages scouring the web for a football league fantasy football last season but to no avail. Perhaps a business opportunity for some lucky fellow who likes coding internet programmes.

I'll set up the league now for us lot!

http://fantasy.premierleague.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is the website where you register your team. It's obviously free to enter and you go about spending your £100m how ever you please!

When you're done I think there's some kind of 'join league' button and you have to enter the following code to enter the 'classic league'

506112-142034

Get entering and I hope to see more teams plop in during the coming weeks!!

Last chance to join on whilst the points remain equal! Website is http://fantasy.premierleague.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and the code for the league is 506112-142034

You can join on late if you don't get around to it in time but you'll just start a few points behind. Get on board!

Yay! One for League 2. Just doing my team now.

Just so you know, Downes is only £30k, bit of a bargain!
