Spot on ferrarilover. I saw Nathen Craig against Exeter last week and was very impressed.
His delivery from corners is quite spectacular. What a left foot!
This guy is Eunan O' Kane all over again.
With Nico ,Craig and Mansell delivering the crosses I hope we are working hard on set plays.Rene is going to score with a lot of headers and Downes is very good in the box with his head..I was so impressed with the boys last night.

Getting the rare occasion to watch a match at plainmoor is always a joy, but hey so impressed with our performance. We passed at times I have never seen before. You can argue Stokes 2nd half side was their 'reserves' but so was ours to an extent. I have such so good fibes for Fleetwood and the forthcoming season. We spent our last night of our holiday in a different hotel, and was vacated by a few Stoke fans, they couldnt quite work out why a Torquay fan was staying in Torquay??? Until I explained my Wigan location, they to be honest said we where the hardest pre-season team they had played(and this guy has apparently been America on tour with them).

Other positives from last night:

Very very spacious leg room in the BB
Sort the PA in the BB
At times outplaying/competing against a full 11 Premiership side

Negatives

Took an age to get out of the BB at Full time
Stewards having to stand in the exits restricting the view of the match
Mega quere for half time refreshments

All in all a great night, see you all at Fleetwood, albeit closer to home

I actually have refereed him in 3 reserve games; not first team I know, still real games! I have to say each game I've seen him, he has looked better and even scoring 1 long range shot too.

So, much fresher Stoke last night, lower ranked opponents, same result.

They aren't though are they. The result is ultimately meaningless and the standard especially at TUFC's reserve level is mince. You get a mixture of kids/backup players that would rather not be there and players strolling through returning from injury.

Craig will be used this season but he'll be sub to start with, sub cameos, JPT game and then if he starts doing well will maybe get put in the side towards the 2nd half of the season.

You've turned into brucie recently, everything alright at home?

I'd actually say that reserve games are full of kids trying to progress and back up players wanting to break into the first team. Not seen a Torquay reserve game but I've seen a couple St Neots FC reserve games (mainly because it's about 20 mins walk from house and it costs 50p to get into with the token from the local paper!). The standard of the games are terrible, let's be honest, but the effort by the players is usually right up the top, especially from any player with a hope of a first team place.
Luke.

LOL fine ta :) i'm not that bad surely?

Just see it slightly differently at the minute, still think we can do ok this season unlike brucie who i'm sure has piled on at the bookies that we'll finish last with -20 points. :)

I found this on Stoke City's website commentary of Monday's game:
"8.34pm: BBC Radio Stoke's Matt Sandoz kindly got the round in at half-time, but he wished he hadn't - £6.80 for two Diet Cokes! Ouch!"
So is this a normal Plainmoor rip-off? Who's responsible? :(
