did zebs celebrate?
He seems to have given up commentating now - we get the odd snippet and then an update about another league 2 game followed by a chat with Steve and then a pause.

I don't. I hope someone has nicked his car.

Gutted.
Once again, we don't take our chances when leading and we get punished.
Once Macklin came off, you could sense that the tide was turning, although I'm not too upset with a point. Cheltenham should be up near the leading pack for promotion and we have played some good stuff tonight.
Have to win on Saturday to really kick start our season but 5 points out of 9 from our first three games wouldn't be a bad return.

2-2 sounded fair in the end, both sides had their share dominating the game. We've played two of the hardest games and are still unbeaten, with one clean sheet and two goals scored. Win on Saturday and it will be a great start to the season.

2-2 FT
a better and stronger performance than at Fleetwood though, well until Macklin was taken off then the whole dimension of the game changed

Sounds like Macklin could be out for a while. A real shame for us and him.

Early days and it sounds as though we could easily have nicked it, especially if macklin hadn't got injured. Just shows how players respond to different situations and managers. Two tough games, we might well be saying that right through the season. Rochdale up next and guess what? Another tough one!
Concerned re our injuries tonight and so early in the season, with a tiny squad. mmmmmmmm.......Martin must be worried??

Looking at the fixture list, we have one of the toughest starts out of everyone else in my opinion, so to not lose our opening two games are a good sign. I also think we have some good opportunities to win in Our next 5 fixtures.
Rochdale (h) - Looking to bounce back into League one but I think we should beat them.
Port Vale (a) - Don't know the financial state of the club at the moment but a point would be good for me.
Plymouth (h) - (should be) Easy 3 points
Rotherham (a) - Hardest of the lot
Wimbledon (a) - should win, although we said that last time and we lost.
It's pointless to look at the tables at this early stage of the season. 5-10 games in will give us a good idea of where we stand in this division.
