Last season Ling made a mark of being able to turn performances around at half time. Hopefully, even though we have the lead, he can get the lads to get more comfortable on the ball. That's one of the main problems of playing youngsters early on, they'll be too eager to give the ball away quickly, rather than hang on to it and wait for an opening.

Massively controversial goal. It looked like Pokey had pretty much fumbled a back header into our goal. The Vale fans went mad, goal wasn't given, we went straight up the other end and scored. Good finish low across the keeper by Morris. Really need to see the highlights to determine what happened down the other end though.

Bit of a nothing performance so far though - nobody outstanding, nobody poor. Vale have been on top and we've had to soak up a lot of pressure without Poke being unduly tested. McKenzie is doing a solid job, can't ask for much more really.
