Torquay United v Yeovil Town - JPT Rnd 2 - 9/10/12
Howe on for penalties!
ohhhh poooooooooooo
Come on Pokey.
But even if we lose, it sounds as if we have been the better side tonight - I am sure Lingy and the players can draw confidence for the more important match on Saturday

They didn't know the England match would be off when they made the decision to visit Plainmoor though did they? That's why I said 'with England supposedly on the box'

I take your point but surely you agree watching the Gulls is closer to reality than the Mega rich prima donnas that think they are better than they really are.
I don't suppose your old enough to remember players of the ilk of Moore. Charlton (both) Jonny Haines. The St and Jimmy Greaves who must rank as one of the unlukiest players to have graced our game.
Or some the the opposition players. Pele. Just wathcing him took your breath away. Socrates. John Charles. The famous Hungarian team. Oh I could go on about soo many. and the USA were nowhere to be seen.

Sweden came from 4-0 down in Germany to draw 4-4! even better than our comeback v Aldershot! wonder what price that was in play! needless to say I was on Germany!
still keeping the faith
I agree 100%, and if I were ever within 100 miles of Plainmoor on a night when they clash with England, then I would be on the Popside.Glostergull wrote:
