This scenario reminds me of a similar situation a few years back when my fellow tyke and Barnsley fan mate went down to Argyle and they were 4-1 up on the Gargs when a heavy torrential downpour saw the ref abandon the game and they lost the rearranged game!
Heavy rain is predicted all through until around 5pm ish so game could go during play, it's not unheard of. Just hope Argyle are 5 up at the time though if that does happen! :~D

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Danny Sullivan has been called upto the squad for today's fixture. As I've said before he's work rate is top drawer and the boy can finish. He has a nice turn of pace too but all of the above have been at youth team level so it would be good to see if given an opportunity how he makes the step up.
But that selection in its self has to be ominous for Karl Baker if he can't get a place on the bench then I think in January he will be released.

Well done to Sullivan but no place on the bench for him.

Oastler
Downes
MacDonald
Nico
Easton
Manse
Craig
Stevens
Howe
Bodin
Subs: Lathrope, Yeoman, Leadbitter, Rice, MacKenzie, Cruise, Halpin
Great to see Craig move back to the middle (with Bodin going to the left) where I think he is at his best.
Thompson not fit enough to feature which is a blow for us - great player to bring off the bench when tired legs are apparant on a heavy pitch.

I also note Argyle are giving a debut to 17 year old forward - Tyler Harvey (very highly rated at Argyle ans supposedly several PL clubs are tracking him)
Interesting move on their part (whether it is a desperate one or not remains to be seen!)

argyle are so poor that despite their recent small improvement i really cant see them beating us today, while i'd probably be happy with a draw i think we'll score at least 2 so am plumping for a 1-3 victory, howe 2 bodin, 764 gulls there

doesnt sound too special so far, under a lot of pressure, downes just made great saving clearance, manse has given away a few free kicks in dangerous places
atmosphere pretty good tho as expected, but i'm fearing the worst
