I think maybe we are two blokes that have wildly differing views on most topics and so long as we continue to keep it respectful from here on in i haven't a problem anymore. I am actually looking forward to Stevegull's blog as we are both taking part with our views and writing a piece for it so at least it should get interesting! :)

(no offence Steve! :-D )

I just think that with just over 3 months of the season left we may as well take a punt for the 3 months and see what happens rather than use what we have. I feel that by using what we have is already acceptance by Ling that he believes a play off spot is out of reach (IMO) even though he won't admit it. Bringing in somebody is at least an attempt to turn the season around for the positive instead of fizzling out over the next few months with nothing to play for. We need a bit of help and a bit of a kick to try and regain some form and if he can do that with what he has at his disposal then hats off to him but i think we would benefit from a new lad.
Indeed, and you're right, I'm not shocked! As long as it stays civil, I'm fine. I just asked Steve if you were doing it aswell, should be..interesting!

Sorry lads, don't think the knees would stand up to the challenge these days.

Zebroski has a problem thats for sure but we got our moneys worth out of him thats for sure. He was quality for us. Lets face it if its a toss up between him and Danny Stevens I know who I would have.

As an early poster said going out clubbing the night before a match may not be ideal but Zebs was a workaholic on the pitch and consistently put in good peformances. When at Bristol Rovers didn't he score after running the length of the pitch against us.
The likes of Bodin and Stevens play like they have been out all night on the piss in any case.

But it won't be because Zebs will almost certainly be on double Danny's money. Which we then couldn't afford.

Thing is Ian, Zebroski's wages shouldn't be a problem. With his track record you offer him a pay as you play/train and keep your nose clean deal, if after 12 months he has earnt his trust back then offer a proper contract, if he is not willing to accept that then the guy is bigger arse than I think, right now he has not got the right to bargin. If another club are stupid enough to offer him 18 months on £2k a week then they indeed would be welcome to him. Personaly dont doubt his talent, but hope we never see him in a yellow shirt again.

My message to Zebs is simple if you ever play professional football again, and dont be to sure he is going end up at Luton considering they are not short of striking/forward talent, you can indeed consider yourself a very lucky man.

Chris Zebroski needs to stop and think about all the 1000's of kids that go through professional acadmies, some even to the second year of their youth professional contracts only to be told that is the end of the line and their dreams crushed, some of these lads would swap anything to be just were you were, Zebroski took that talent and flushed it right down the toilet, Zebroski is a complete waste of time in fact a complete tosser, after three incidents its fair to say the lad is not going change. It can take months for some of those young lads who never made it, to get over it and before Zebs he really does need to think long and hard.

There are always clubs that need players like Zebs and will take gambles. How else can you explain how Lee Hughes gets clubs? Nile Ranger actually has more arrests than he has goals throughout his career, still in the Premier LEague and when Newcastle release him he'll go somewhere else.

Zebs is no different, Bucks will have him at Luton he's signed him everywhere. In fact when he's not with Bucks he tends to get himself into the most trouble and even if they don't someone will offer him a deal. They always think 'we'll change him'. Make no mistake as much as he'd help us out we can't afford him.

Agreed, however Zebroski is a serial offender yes so is Nile Ranger however he is lucky he plays at a level where clubs have enough money to take that gamble.

And again dont be to sure he will up at Luton, if Buckle needed or wanted Zebroski it would already be a done deal, Buckle would have been on phone the same day he was sacked.
