I thought we played ok, first we played really well, let them back into in the 2nd. Positive subs for a change from Mr Ling. Only my opinion

Hardly a relegation battle just yet is it? We've got 1-2 games in hand over most of the teams around us, we're going through a grey patch at the mo, our form will change and we'll be alright!! From the sounds of it, we played alright tonight and on Saturday, just results haven't gone our way!!

1-1 mustn't grumble since we need a point a game pretty much to get over the finish line.

We do need to finish games off and not give all of us the scary last 15minutes - you can be sure that they are wearing Depends on the bench - just like the rest of us old folks.... :-D
At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!

Yeah i would have done Scott, it's just the way we give the opposition the confidence to come back rather than going for the throat. It's not just once , it's many many times and it's frustrating. It is also predictable. Pleased with a point in the context of things but worried that another game passes and another ineffectual performance by Bodin it sounded like. We need battlers now and not players who 'might' come in to some form. I wasn't there so i feel it a bit of a liberty saying this but he hasn't scored again. I know it's only his second appearance since injury but i did say before the game not to play him because i didn't think he was ready. We could have brought him on later on. P*ssed off but it's another point off 2nd bottom and finding myself talking in these realistic terms depresses me but i got some hammer on here for daring to dream so we've just got to crack on to another tough game against the Spireites on saturday and hope we can finish mid table. Oh the anticipation. :-/
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

How long did it take Saahsy to come good?! And to some extend Howe as well!! Now look at these two, a couple of the most influential/best players we've got at present!!

no you seem to me like a 12-13 year old because I bet you can not make a reasonable statement how is sacking our manager in the middle of the season is going to benefit our points taly or our financial situation...it is just easier for you to think that since we have not won in 6 games..it is time for a change...if you want Ling out..that is fine with me..just wait until the end of the season..whoever comes instead of him now..would not know the players and the atmosphere in the dressing room would suffer..if you have to say something else go on...

Apologies to Bodin for singling him out, it's probably unfair. I just want him to start repaying the fans who have total faith in him as i feel they are getting a raw deal this season. I'm frustrated.

It's because our players aren't good enough to do it and we're playing against better sides than us who will always make chances against us. They will be top 7, we'll be in the bottom half. Them's the breaks.

One could argue that the price tag is not Billy's fault, and it is the price tag which created a high level of expectation. However, it is undeniable that BB has consistently been our most ineffective player in his specialist position.

I wish I knew the answer to his poor form. I bet Dinger does too!!

Yes thats right they have better players and a better manager than us. My sons verdict who was at the game "we were useless" and it sounded like it on the radio.
Were we playing Brazil or an Exeter side who played for forty minutes of the first half with a striker who has played two games all season and the other who has played less than that!
What the hell is the point of spending all but fifteen minutes of the match defending a 1-0 lead? Same old - same old, Ling just doesn't have any other gameplan.
We are in fact completely clueless.

I love the brutal truth Royal!

Could it be as simple as that? Quite possibly.

And J5, i didn't think Billy was much good before we signed him so i HAD no expectation. You could argue that if he has disappointed someone with ZERO expectation then clearly he's a lot of catching up to do. Without wanting to get into another debate about this i just think he has bottomed out and what we have now is pretty much what we'll get from him for the remainder of his Torquay career. Some people still think he will find a phonebox down Hele Road, change into Superman and finish the season on 478 goals. I don't and i don't see his inclusion helping the team either. No offence to anyone.

it is true, not being harsh or winding anyone up it's just the facts. Our first XI is an ok League 2 XI but we've got NOTHING in reserve and once we start tiring any change we make will weaken the side. It's not helped when some of our ok players don't perform. To beat sides in and around the top 7 they have to be slightly off it and we have to be at our maximum.

We'll win the odd one of those and also we'll lose the odd one against the Wimbledon's and Accrington's of this world because when we're off our game we are as terrible as they are.

It's why we will finish between 12-19th.

I wouldn't blame Bodin - he is in the team because we don't have anything better. Can someone explain to me How Exeter who don't have any money either can sign good players like Woodman,Amankwaah,Gow,Oakley and the like whilst we sign absolute dross and waste 70k in the process.
