Get in Rene!! At least someone who earns their wages and can find their arse with both hands!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

The question I put to you Billy-discussers now is would he be playing as often as he currently is if he HADN'T spent all that money on him? If we got him on a free would he still be playing every game?
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

Indeed - shame that he also can't control himself enough to not get booked. We are without him for a couple of games now.

Glimpses aren't enough when you have players like Downes nearly donating blood for the yellow cause and then we get powder puff Billy who is misunderstood and has latent ability. We need ability NOW not in two years so if he has it then i'd like to see it in a run of 3 or 4 games please Billy.

So Howe is suspended? He has given more than most when available.

Yes you have a point but it isn't just Bodins fault. We have Craig playing on the wing today and he is just hopeless. His replacement Macklin is probably worse. Plain fact is our only game plan is to win every game 1-0. If we go behind then we are basically clueless. Ok we have got a goal back so no doubt half the idiots on here will be saying that a 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham is a good result. By the sound of it we were completely clueless again going forward. We did not strengthen and have shown a complacent attitude just because we somehow fluked a win at Exeter (who lets be fair are in a false position - they are not going up).
Lets hope we get the points we need to stay up but we are a pretty poor team.

Yes i know but i am talking about him in respect to todays game so it's relevant. So i'm supposed to say he's sh*t at the start of the season and not mention him again for the rest of it?

And for what it's worth Brucie is right. We certainly did fluke the points at Exeter, we couldn't score other than a debatle penalty, we created little and we should have conceded a couple. The fact we didn't for once shouldn't lead us to believe we have turned a corner. We're a decent squad but used really badly.

No Andy, just pick on some other player as there are others who have not fulfilled their potential either. Just going on about Bodin is not exactly original

I just happen to think that when he plays badly it has a far more detrimental effect on the how the rest of the team play in terms of linking defence and attack and also offering some resistance to opposing midfielders coming at us. That is why i would prefer it if he wasn't picked. Not because he is really sh*te but because we cannot afford to keep persevering with something that isn't working or showing any signs of working( apart from winning a penalty against Exeter ) . I don't hink i'm being unfair, just that they are my reasons i don't want him in the side.

More later/tomorrow but Bodin was one of our better players today. Howe and downes were our best, Nicho was crap. Jarvis ineffective, Craig invisible on the wing. Saah distribution is shocking.

Only people who turned up were Howe, Billy, Poke and Downes. Fans turned up in good numbers and loud first half but we were so so bad in the second half it soon died. 2-1 certainly doesn't reflect the gulf in class between the sides, it was huge.
