I confess to being a long way away from the incident but I didn't think that it seemed a very clear chance that the 'foul' negated. The conditions made controlling the ball difficult throughout and certainly there were fouls in the second half where the referee seemed far more ready to make allowance for the conditions.

The important thing to remember is despite the early red card, the team went on to win the game, so not really worth us fans getting into a prolonged stupor over whether, the card was correct decision or not.
All I did to form my own opinion, was pause the video around the 00.37/ 00.38 mark. Then draw an imaginary line from the our keeper to the attacking player, look at how close the ball is to the attacking player, and the position of any covering players, being honest I'd love to have found something in there to argue against this decision, but I just can't, there's no doubt in my mind he'd have a shot away, as said that's enough, can't see any grounds to appeal.

I am pleased to learn that Jean-Yves Koue Niate has received a one match ban for his Red Card for ungentlemanly conduct.
The correct decision in my opinion.

Know it's gone now and we have the points but watching the TUFC highlights - that's a penalty for handball all day long ! Defender immediately turns round and looks at the linesman, how he did not flag for that is beyond me. Good job it didn't matter
