''imitation is the highest form of flattery''.... so here's my take on Mav's 70's kit...

I have to say, it brings back memories of cold Tuesday nights huddled together(!) in the old Mini Stand.... ah, for days gone by eh!

I really hope all these designs are being sent in, as they're very good. I wouldn't be able to pick a winner. Different strip for each game maybe...

....and here's my idea for not only a new away kit but also new club logo....

the colours for the away kit reflect those first by worn by the gulls way back in 1901 when first formed (light blue/darkblue)... and when we first entered the football league back in 1927 (black and white stripes). The club logo is self-explanatory.... we're the Gulls... (and not Motorola! as someone mentioned elsewhere in internet-land)...

i found a site which had templates that could be used within photoshop, you still have to do a bit of work yourself but it gives you a good base to start from

Some of the shirts on this thread are amazing. Loving the blue one with a yellow band across the middle and the white one on this page. :O

No website used.... I already had the shirt design (plain white) and created everything else (shorts/socks) in QuarkXPress...

Mav - I hope you have been sending these in to the club as they are excellent.

I also hope the club are keeping the various choices submitted that are not predominantly yellow as inspiration for an away kit the year after next.

Have sent them all in so far, It has been suggested that perhaps maybe I need to get out more!, but they are pleased with the response they have had from so many so far.

The problem is, I just hate the colour yellow...difficult I know, as that's the primary colour of TUFC!

The TUFC shirt I have now doesn't have any yellow in it at all...so that's the one i'll be wearing for the forseeable future! :)
I think I am coming around to Wurzel's way of thinking! :O

By far, the best kits so far have been the white ones!
