Thank God, we're out. Now to Saturday..................
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Yeovil didn't even deserve that equaliser. Really thought we could actually progress.
Happily sacrifice this cup and the carling cup for a decent run in the FA cup and more importantly the league!!

I find this loss to be quite painful knowing the way it happened...Its was always going to be Yeovil winning on penalties after an equaliser in the last minute...However as some people said..it may be positive.

losing is always painfull. But it belies us to understand that this is what make victories all the more glorious. we can then feel the victory in a heartfelt way that manure fans could never feel.

I've just got home from the match and went on twitter and searched Torquay just to see what the general response is... it seems most Yeovil fans are livid as apparantley a group/ one Torquay fan has bricked their coach window and smashed it. Anyone know anything about this?

Somebody phone Amnesty International, there's been a massive miscarriage of justice.
Absolute bloody robbery, we were the better side for 90 minutes and it's a sodding travesty that Yeovil have progressed despite having been outclassed, outgunned and out-worked by an effective and cohesive Torquay side featuring a lot of our second string.
Danny Stevens was magnificent, direct, powerful, fast, caused untold problems all night.
Nathan Craig made more passes that would not look out of place in the Premier League.
Jarvo was excellent.
Saahsy and Downer were rock solid all night.
Tom Cruise gets better and better.
Manse his usual self (but with new hair).
Poke, aside from an error in handling for their first, had one of his best games for us since his return.
The only (continuing) disappointment was Bodin who is far too much of a flash Harry for my liking.
Both our goals were absolutely delightful. Our passing all night was accurate and swift. The better team have been mugged and, given the vociferous celebrations upon the winning penalty, Yeovil know it.
Matt.

If any of our fans have been involved in such a disgraceful act they should be banned for life. Period no room for discussion and no room for appeal. There is absolutly no rhymn nor reason that would justify this behaviour.
it's a football match for heavens sake.

You just tweet back and let them know that we do not condone this activity in any way and if we knew who they were we would gladly capture the idiot. hand them over to yeovil and let them be staked to the roof of their stand in a howling gale.

Doesn't sound right, this is hardly a game for casual scum to pitch up at.

It's not officially confirmed that anything has happened but some of the tweets are:
" quality ed!! Apart from our coach now has a smashed window thanks to the Torquay fans!"
"Torquay ****s smashed fans coach window, funny how there's no sight of the colpurate anymore #ytfc"
"****ing torquay fans threw a brick at our coach and smashed the outer window #****s"
They are just a pick of them.
