Accurate to within a tolerance of 8.5%, I hope you're not an engineer.

Matt.

...And Shaun Taylor has left the building.

Cheers for your efforts the last two years Shaun, and good luck!

Agreed - he was put in a really sh1tty position by the circumstances that unfolded and a lot of blame unfairly went his way.

Think this break is best for all parties but (like Ling) I wish him a successful future in football.

Without coming out and saying "I couldn't work with Shaun" - did anyone else get the impression that by going to great lengths to explain how he would normally do all that he can to keep the structure of a clubs staff in place, imply that he wasn't up to the task? (in Knills eyes at least)

It certainly appeared on the touch line that Taylor had become a spare wheel, last season. But is this down to a personality clash, a gulf in footballing knowledge and tactics, or just good old fashioned footballing reasons?

As soon as Ling left Taylors position was always untenable. He maybe a nice bloke but clearly the writing was on the wall after the Aldershot match when a nine year old managing a subuteo team could have come up with a better line up than Taylor did that night.
He clearly hasn't got a clue. It might be harsh but there it is.

Brucie is right. Mr. Knill says more or less the same thing; you have to be ruthless at times.
