Still....it could be worse, we could be a team who have just lost 6-0 to Fatty Evans !!

What they need is a 6' 5" striker .............

Perhaps they will pay back some of their £17 million with their promotion winnings ! Fair play no way :@ :@

We have made plenty of crap decisions but have never got into that kind of state and then just carry on as if nothing has happened. They certainly have profited from having a never paid for decent pitch to play on !!

well it sounded crap , on real player, thank god I did not go, the manager is a clueless ex footballer, listen to his interview this week,, could not even look at the guy asking the questions , if you cant look someone in the face when youre talking to them . he,s in the wrong job ,,,,,,,,,, he has accepted Torquay are going down ,
and be sure they are , ,I say this with a sad heart , players are so low , his selection is bazzarre , his tactics are crap.
Goodwin , apart from that goal is woeful , hes picked him every game from the start, he plays him on the wrong side of the pitch, is he shagging his mother . Chapple is different class to him.
The sad thing is when we go down this inept bloke will still be manager , and we wont do any better next year.
I have been a Torquay fan for a long time , this is our darkest hour ..get yeoman in for goodness sake ,he hasn't been given a chance all season.. he surely cant be worse than Benyon.
hopefully when we go down those bastards Northampton go down as well , unforgivable the plot to do Bodin,
by that **** NILL,,,,,,,,,

Im just one hopes northampton stay up. As they could make a good team with the funds in the conference. Wouldn't mind stanley as there smaller. Give us half a chance to bounce straight back

Supplementary question for Mr Hargreaves, "Do you think your remarks and body language on BBC Spotlight contributed to the sacking of Mr Knill?".

FACTS to consider in formulating your answer:-
Your last 5 games ..... 1 point ..........NOT good enough to avoid relegation
Mr Knill's last 5 games ...... 7 points ...... It would have been good enough.

There are none so blind as those that will not see (well known Devon proverb). ;-)
You make it look like Juan was some sort of managerial genius ;-)

The bigger problem than getting relegated is that we have a bunch of poor players under contract for next season. The 4 or 5 half decent players will leave. Anyone who thinks the likes of Cameron, Hawley Harding will set the conference alight are deluding themselves.

Only Rice ( because hes cheap) poke, pearce , O'Connor, downes and lathrope should be tempted to stay. I know, so I don't need to be told thank you that this is wishful thinking!

The only positive is that Buckle had virtually no players to start with and produced a decent team. BUT is Hargreaves as good as Buckle, not sure myself.

That makes no difference. Cobblers are also in the drop zone. Even if we swap places with them we are still going down.
