Are you really telling me that they would sign Wroe for a year, then sack him off if they did go up,
It's a situation that crops up more often than you think. For instance there were plenty of questions asked as to whether Taiwo Atieno would be good enough for League 2, & that's possibly why he was only offered a 1 year contract. You only have to read this forum to see plenty of doubts expressed about him, yet surprisingly, at the same time plenty have called for his inclusion during our last promotion deciding matches, while at the same time thinking he'd be the first one kicked out the door as not being up to standard for the higher level of League 1 if we do get promoted.

A dilemma for a player also if he thinks his chances of getting a new contract are enhanced if his club don't get promotion.

As for Wroe, better pitches, better teammates, a bit more time on the ball....I think there's a good chance he'd look more comfortable at a higher level than some imagine.

Agree. Always rated him. 40 games is a good run, he may just have had a good season.

Do we have any sell on clauses?

Wroe 26 years old and out of contract, so if he goes to Preston it will be on a free transfer, so sell on any sell clauses won't apply if we have one, I guess.
