I agree with Sunny. Don't mock Danny just because you can't knock him anymore. He may be diminuative but Napoleon was no taller.

Danny may turn out to be another Napoleon. Just so long as we don't play Wellington in a cuptie...

And you are ? The twin brother ?

Dorothy isn't nasty. Fanny is.

Short for Dorothy is Dot.

"Dot Dot Dot, dash dash, Dot Dot Dot."

Dot wastes considerable time and effort dashing (jockeying) between players without ever closing one player down. Watching it gets on my nerves. :@

Add to that wasteful with the final delivery. Don't rate him, never have. Bodin back this week and with Morris restored to the side, tiny tot Dot will be back on the bench and if necessary, will only play a short cameo for a short time.

As for "abuse" from the Popside, a very loud shout of "STEVENS !!"(with frustrating frequency) is abuse ? I reckon not. Anyone wishing to catch me out using foul and abusive language towards ANY player is welcome to try. You'll be standing there a very long time and it will be BARTLETT that gets on your nerves.

In short that sums it up.

I agree, a high work rate doesn't necessarily equal being effective. Sometimes, half a dozen crunching, but fair, tackles can mean more than hours of, supposed, harrying. Hence why I liked Alex Watson.

Cheers

Eh ? Read the earlier post.

As for "Napoleon", isn't that a literary pig ?

"Napoleon" is too many times piggy in the middle between players without being effective.

It's about time the coaching staff spotted it and rectified it.

Troj, I presume you weren't at the b2net on Saturday?

I would be very surprised if Morris plays against Argyle - he looked so far off the pace it was incredible. Granted, Danny had a quiet game but he got on the scoresheet and caused a few problems. Playing Morris would be suicidal at the moment - he had a poor game and looked like he needs another 2/3 reserve games to get back to full fitness.

Hope thats helpful matey. ;-)

Thanks,,, I've onlyjust seen your advice Emet. I have several more radiators to do (whole blooming house!) so I will invest in some wire wool and plumbers mait before next weekend when the process begins again.

Appreciate your opinion but think you go a bit too far with with they way you have expressed your opinion on one of our players. Whatever you think, Ling is happy with they way the team are playing, a team with Danny in the starting 11. It is obvious that you have a problem with Stevens but singleing him out constantly (even when he scores) seems unnecessary.

Im guessing the management is happy with Bods on the right side to cut in and shoot and Danny on the left to do likewise. It certainly seems to be working ok in the recent matches. Morris (although he's been out recently) has hardly looked to be an improvement (when he's played) over Danny on the left and shouldnt really start unless we look at 4-4-2 again with him as a left winger and possibly Macklin on the right.
