He has to go. Bottom of the league, 4 pts adrift of safety, one win in about a million and no prospect of embarking on the sort of run we need if we are to pull clear - which with Knill in charge, we won't do.

Does anyone know anything about betting? What about a double of Martin Jole ( Fulham ) & Knill getting the sack next week, what would the odds be?

Jol is currently 1/5 with skybet to leave his job. I would guess that Knill will be odds on as well. You'd be lucky to get even money on the double imo.

There may yet be another great escape, even with Alan Knill in charge. But Martin Ling's period as manager was never this bad. Can't the board admit their mistake and bring back Ling? Or will they stay frozen like rabbits in the headlights with the squirrel still in charge...!! If things don't improve (we must win at least eight points in December) surely he must go by the New Year..

Three games ago I was still on the fence, prepared to give Knill more time. After the Plymouth game I was starting to feel more positive, I was still feeling that at 3:05 this afternoon. Now though, I've had enough.
If the choice is a boss with good man management skills, good tactical ideas or a boss the good contacts then I want the former. Knill has assembled a decent squad but without the ability to manage the team effectively he may as well have signed a bunch of blokes off the park.

I can't see the board doing anything now as it should have been done a month ago. I still think there is hope as I did not expect a result today. I just hope he does not make a load of changes again as it looked not bad against Plymouth. At least we won't lose next Saturday.

Due to our teams inept performances we find ourselves bottom of the Football league and out of all cup competitions.

We are 4 points adrift from safety, if take into account our goal difference it is as good as 5 points. Another loss at home against Southend in 2 weeks time and it may well be an 8 point gap.

The board needs to take decisive action and appoint a new manager ASAP. This will allow him the time to secure some much needed points and assess the squad before the January transfer window.

I think everyone in the 'give it a few more games' camp needs to wake up really. Knill is taking us down faster than I ever thought possible. We still don't look like winning games anytime soon. 3 wins from 22 league and cup would be funny if it was somebody else's manager. Sadly it's ours. Have it your way board but prepare for the conference in the New Year because we're going not even going nowhere under this clitoris, we're going backwards. Today was another horror show with zero positives and we took NOTHING from Tuesdays game into this whatsoever. P*ss off please Alan, thankyou.
