Well couldn't see us winning with the team we had out. Hargreaves seems to make changes every game. We could have won saturday, so frustrating really.
You have got to give it to Showumni. He has come in and really earnt is money. Really worked hard saturday and has played well again tonight apparently.
Obviously Benyon and Showumni are the two players to play up front. Despite what everyone else says Stockley is decent as well.
The difference between Showumini and a nancy boy like Wilkinson who thinks he is better than what he is - what a shame we didn't get him six weeks ago.
We had a bit of luck with Rochdale missing a couple of players but honestly could anyone really have predicted we would win tonight.
Cheltenham is such a massive game on Saturday now. It isn't inconcievable we could win there. No doubt Hargreaves will get the players fired up for that one.

The gap in points isn't really that relevant. Its more about what we do. Its still in our own hands it doesn't matter what anyone else does.
Now I am not saying its going to happen but really our next three games are easier than the last two. Three wins next week and there won't be a gap.
Couple of chances before tonights game No chance and Slim chance. At least Slim hasn't left town yet.

A well deserved victory, that was much more like it! Correct formation and tactics by Hargreaves, the players worked their socks off, the best we've played all season! A special mention to Pearce who was outstanding tonight and saved the game with a tremendous block!!

EVERYONE GET FIRED UP FOR CHELTENHAM NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Sort of, a low shot at him which he just parried to their striker for a tap in, probably could have just smothered it and picked it up.

Did ricey have any other saves of note to make?

If we can catch up to those 7/8 teams on 40-42 points the pressure on them goes through the roof! Got to build on this win!!

If Rochdale had won they would have been top of the division now. We at the bottom of the league kept them off the top!

Yes, made an excellent save in the first half which looked a certain goal, will probably be on the highlights tomorrow!

Yes having goal a game Rice back in goal is a worry. I would be looking to borrow a proper keeper if Poke is crocked.
Does anyone know what the situation is with Bodin. Came on as sub against Burton and has disappeared. Could really do with him being fit now.
Hopefully Hargreaves has come to his senses. We won't have a chance of staying up with the likes of Stevens and Hawley in the team.
If Chapple wasn't injured you have got to ask how on earth Stevens made the bench tonight. In actual fact I would like to see Thompson,Yeoman and Craig brought back into the fold. All three are better substitute options than Stevens.
Seems that Hargreaves loves Goodwin as he seems to be first choice. Two from Stockley,Enoch and Benyon are the answer up front.

AT LAST A PERFORMANCE WE CAN BE PROUD OF, and a suggestion, never play Mansell again, we look such a better with out him, personally cant remember a home performance as good as that all season, energy, commitment and at times some quality, massive well done to all.

absolutely manful defending from Pearce, saved a certain second equaliser for Rochdale just minutes before their was sent off, and big Enoch up front had a fantastic game, they were the two picks for me.

Is that a different Enoch to the one you were suggesting we shouldn't bother with on another thread

I am just wondering whether this is the way to go from now on. Attack minded formation. Draws are not alot of good to us. Win or bust perhaps?
