Two points gone !!!
Totally unable to convert so many chances against a very poor side.
Hopefully won't come back to haunt them at the end of the season.

In a relegation battle we have lost 3 of the last 4 drawing just 1!
Shocking form how are we only 1 win away from getting out of the bottom 4?
It just not make any sense
Football is a funny old game!

As we've said all season, we still need a striker

We've got a striker, Jarvis is perfectly serviceable. What we lack is the means to give him adequate service.

If you take our form just over the last six games we would be out of the relegation zone in 19th place and Yeovil would be bottom of the league. Believe it or not there are worst teams than us out there at the moment. It is a funny old game!Minneapolisgull wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 19:35 In a relegation battle we have lost 3 of the last 4 drawing just 1!

I've just had a quick scan of our fixtures coming up, some toughies, they all are, Solihull away won't be easy, and then Wealdstoneat home, on paper they look the least hard of the next 5, results keep going out way elsewhere, but 1 point out of 12 is a big worry, people on this forum saying Johnson would of quit after Bromley obviously mistaken, although I would of liked to of seen someone else managing in place of him.

Good defender is available for free. Southend's Kacper Lopata (21) is a free agent having ripped up his contract having not been paid his wages. Ex Sheffield Utd player who was being scouted by FL clubs but as transfer window is now closed has to find a NL club to play for.
Just got back. Although it's true that we had much of the game, it must be said Halstead made some very good saves. Thought the real stars were the 284 that made an atmosphere out of a very quiet home crowd.

My son went with me today as he lives in CamberleyCheddargull wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 20:35 We've got a striker, Jarvis is perfectly serviceable. What we lack is the means to give him adequate service.
He has never seen Jarvis play… my son has played football over the years at a reasonable level.
He said that he has never seen a centre forward mistime his jump for the ball as many times as Jarvis today.
I told him he is the best we got
Then the ball came to Jarvis 5 yards out unmarked and he headed to the keepers waist.
He has done ok, but simply not good enough I am sad to say.
Would probably agree. Had it put on his head from a cross today, either side would have resulted in a sure goal. He put it in the middle, right into the keepers hands. Works hard but misses some sitters.

Agree with Gull 67.
Missed chances once again cost us, not clinical enough again.
Halstead made a few good saves and once again kept us in the game. Wyatt with suicide defending, unable to pass to a yellow shirt and almost cost us. He looked knackered as did Evans after 65 minutes…… but all we have is Hanson ffs
New boy Dawson clearly unfit, seems to like a sideways pass but hopefully will prove a saviour . Time will tell.
Odd points will not keep us up, that’s a certainty !

Based on the highlights it seemed that every chance we created was from putting the ball on the floor and playing, I would hope this might show to the staff that it is indeed possible to play good football and not smash it long every chance we get, hopefully something to build on for Tuesday
Strangly in the Spoons in Aldershot were the German Aldershot Supporters Club over from Berlin. Heartening to see one of them was as piss poor at the half time crossbar challenge as most are at Plainmoor
