No thank you.

Like SG says, it's not who I am expecting either - so let's wait for official confirmation.

I SO don't want to be negative, but in my opinion.....With Marting Ling, the BSP does bring!! We,re screwed. Thanks board for your lack of in depth knowledge of his track record. Coz if you knew you wouldn't even invite him for an interview!!

Lads and lasses, this isn't confirmed yet so leave the panic until later.

Wouldn't hurt for the Board to know our feelings though, I guess

Now now Royal, it's not the cat's fault.

I wouldn't worry to much. Sky Sports are hardly renowned for the quality of their journalism. It's just a rumour with absolutely no evidence to back it up. No quotes, no named sources, just random speculation.

I really hope so Phil, more than anything this appointment needs to lift the fans after we have just taken a collective kicking - surely the board who are fans themselves realise this? I give up if Ling is appointed - his name fills me with dread, I just pray it's not going to happen.

Doesn't look like it's going to happen. Shame.

However new Manager will get my full support whoever he is.

Leyton Orient supporter here...if this rumour about Lingy going to you is true then I think that you have found made a very shrewd appointment.

Before he took over as our manager, we were looking more likely to be relegated from the division, yet Ling got us on the right track and after just missing out on the play-offs in his first season, we gained automatic promotion is second full season.

He will get you playing football in the right way and he has a knack of attracting good quality players to a club that's on a tight budget. Yes he was poor at Cambridge, but at League Two level (with a few more funds available) he'll have you battling towards the top of the division again. You'll be knowhere near the bottom of the league with Ling in charge, dont worry.

CP - you know for a fact that Forster isn't getting it?
