Gold and Blue were adopted as the club colours to reflect the Golden beaches and Blue skies of Torquay, to my knowledge this has never been changed.

i clearly remember our nickname in the 70's being the GoldenBlues. Thats seems a decent enough Nickname to me and brings back a host of memories

I like yellow and blue kits. Personally, I like a darker, richer yellow and royal blue. I was as embarrassed as anything with the pastel, all-yellow kit we played in against Bolton at Wembley, very feminine, especially on the skinnier players!

Mind, this season's kit is a real 70s throwback!
