We are told by those who have seen Morris play there that his position is a central midfielder. These same people are bemused as to why he is being played wide. No reason to believe this isn't correct and, for me Morris>McFree, so, Lb for Lb, Morris plays.
Not necessarily a downer on McFree, I just think Morris is a better player all in.
Well Morris has played zero minutes at central midfield and has been used predominantly/exclusively as a left sided midfielder here. He may be comfortable in the middle and Ling may well go that way. i would agree Morris probably has more in the locker than McPhee. I just think this role on paper is taylor made for the guy. They've both said his best position is central midfled supporting the strikers. Surely that's the role in the side with a gap in it for Friday.
