Lincoln is ok, it's Barnsley that has the inbreds!

Well actually, I am looking forward to Lincoln and Mansfield next year...maybe that's just me though! 8-]SuperNickyWroe wrote:well lucy, im personally looking forward to trips to mansfield, lincoln, macclesfield, stockport and hyde next season.........
yeah - like f**k I am!
I too enjoyed the BSP Seasons and like you say Setanta was an added bonus. It doesn't seem to get the same coverage now and in addition there seem to be far more ex-league clubs than when we were in there previously. Last time, I think we were just grateful to exist and there was a sense of optimism and freshness with the new direction the club was taking and of course, Buckle and all the new players.crazyfool wrote:I have fond memories of the Blue Square Premier seasons as I'm sure a lot of us do. I managed to get to more away games than I normally do and then there were the 2 Wembley visits. Oh and plenty of coverage on Setanta.
Things have changed since then though and I'm pretty certain it wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun a second time around. And I don't think we'd bounce back into League 2 within a relatively short time again either.
There's a little way to go this season yet, so hopefully the new man in charge will be able to make a difference and put an end to this terrible run of form we're experiencing.
Too true Andy. No problems at Lincoln ever, unlike Mansfield where they really are inbreds! :~Daustrianandygull wrote:
