I agree with you, I made a little joke and you have all gone mental!
Cheer up guy's, You have stayed up! Share the love, not the hate man!
Are you really too stupid to understand why Torquay fans would be annoyed that they can't get into a game while away fans are home ends being loud and abrasive?
Obviously there has been far more interbreeding in Bristol than we realised...
]BritishGAS, how would you feel if you were playing at home and weren't able to get into one of the biggest games of the season because away fans were in the home end. You'd be pretty pissed off, let's face it.
Why are you all getting so upset?

No love was shared by the idiots in the home end. Maybe if they had shown some respect there wouldn't have been a need to start this thread?
sorry british but no excuses mate, some of your fans were spoiling for trouble today, they think we are a small club and they can just walk in and take over, on the way home we were driving away from the ground and rovers fans were walking in the road ignoring the traffic and shouting abuse when cars honked there horns, blokes who at there age should know better, ive always got on with your fans but after today ive seen the other side, meatheads who think there hard, I THINK NOT.
BritishGAS wrote:If Gasheads were taking the piss, then thats unfortunate
But in all honesty you need to blame your own club for that
I know of a couple of hotel owners who supplied Gasheads with tickets in return for getting more people to stay in Torquay for the weekend
If these were home tickets then the hotel owners need a good kick up the ar*e. I would be happy to supply the kick if I could be given the names of the hotels?
Oh I do agree there. The club need a right royal roasting for this. Utterly disgraceful and no club should ever put away fans before the home fans in any situation. The police are totally useless too, we don't pay for people in luminous jackets, we pay for protection which is almost never offered properly, in any situation.
This is the same police force who once pulled me over for doing 27mph through a speed camera in a 30 mph zone as I was going too slow...
i think the beef is more at the situation than at u britishgas, if gulls are not allowed in while rovers fans populate our stands then something has really gone wrong - god knows wat could of happend if we went down - and as for our own fans getting kicked out - joke, SORT IT OUT BOARD!

I thought Mark Jenkins was out of the hotel business?
Seriously not good if that's true. Disappointing and hard for the club to do anything about.
NOT EVEN THE PLYMOUTH FANS TAKE THE PISS LIKE THAT, IM SO BLOODY ANNOYED, I HOPE WHEN POMPEY FANS COME KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR NEXT SEASON YOU WILL HAVE A TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINE.
Obviously the arrogant Rovers fans were delighted to be in a Football ground rather than being homeless and have to have the embarrasment of being such a big club that have to play in a Rugby ground !!!
we did have a thread a few weeks back called gashead in peace which more or less stated rovers fans were determined to come down for the game regardless of the fact the away end was sold out.
i voiced my displeasure at these sorts of scenarios at the time. indeed even if we had nothing to play for today i still would not be happy that these sorts of things can happen.
tell me how many clubs in the football league would allow away fans in home areas like this.
how many clubs would away fans try it on with in this manner.
i can just imagine them thinking oh its only torquay, we'll just take over, they wont mind.
like i said before would rovers like it if they had a big game at home against city, swindon or yeovil etc, away tickets sold out and the away fans came anyway with the attitude, oh its only rovers we'll just take over their stands.
its typical of some football fans arrogance, ignorance, bloody mindedness, a big time charlie attitude and a complete and total lack of respect.
if you are told away tickets are sold out then you should stay away.
i would never have the arrogance, lack of respect or audacity to sit/stand in another teams part of the ground.
i bet rovers wouldnt have done it down at argyle or at exeter, or indeed many clubs, its just because its little old torquay.
in some ways it is a credit to torquay fans and the reputation we have as a family club, the fact that we are never any trouble and that away fans feel they can do this sort of thing, but it is blatantly taking the p!ss.
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.
(laa, laa, - laaaa, - la, la, - laa, laa, - laaaa, - la, la. - la,la,la,la,la, - la,la,la,la....).
So the message I'm geting here from the club and the Devon police is it's Ok to go in the family stand at the Mem. and the big Bank at Exeter next season.
