This is why trialists for a club like us is fantastic. If there not good we thank them for there efforts and move on. I hope we can add more trialists soon. With the lads going into the Forrest tonight cannot imagine too many deals been completed in next few days.

I've heard rumour of a Chesterfield centre half we are interested in - backs up the trotman post....
If downes is crocked we need two experienced centre halves....

Trotman would be an excellent addition. Would him and Downes have played together at Chesterfield?

I think Trotman would be excellent for us. Be an ideal replacmebt for Saah.
Seems to be linked more and more over past few days.
My sources tell me Plymouth are interested so have to wait and see.

I do really hope we are looking into his availability. From what I remember of him he's a very good centre half, and happens to be at a good age to sign for us. He's young enough that he's not past it and still has plenty of time to develop, but at the same time has the benefit of a fair few games.
The worries would be his injury history, as it would mean both him and Downes could be risky in that department, and also that he's pretty much only played for Northern clubs. Although this can often be a bonus as it allows players to escape the area they've been in all their life, it can also be a risk should they be liable to experience home sickness.
Overall though, sounds like a very good potential signing.
