Blind dogs will sniff ANY arse!

I've just found out that the 2 Bury scored at Wycombe were their first in 5 games and prior to that win they had not won in 9 games. Their only wins have been at home to Cheltenham who we know are sh*t and Accy who are also sh*t but now improving.

This game has all the makings of one which we should be winning but events have once again transpired against us with the new interim manager suddenly coinciding with an upturn in results. Typical. We really should be looking to win games like this or we will end up in serious trouble. Bury are sh*t, make no bones about it and to go and be happy with a point is not on. We need to win up there on Saturday. No excuses.

Knill should really be making sure everyone is up for this big time but is he?

He is paid to be a striker. He may go back into defence to help the players out when needed, but when needed in his role, he hasn't been good enough.

I don't buy that about Hawley helping out the younger players either. Whenever I've seen him I've rarely seen him communicate with other team members.

I've been one of Hawley's fiercest critics for not even shooting never mind scoring but yesterday he put in a real shift for the team making the most of McCallum's presence.
The game wasn't won yesterday against Pompey from when McCallum limped off.
Also I've not been very complimentry about Cameron but the short time on the pitch showed his potential.
I see us moving up the table in the coming weeks and yes a win at Bury would be a welcome return to three points.

Yes, Bury are as poorer team as we could expect to play at this stage of the season and like I said, we really need to be going up there and grinding out a win.

McCallum shouldn't even BE here.

But yes I do agree that Benyon should be in the 11.

I barely know any of our players anymore but this is the side I'd go for:

Rice
Cruise O'Connor Pearce Tonge
Chapell Mansell McCourt Cameron
Hawley Azeez

Think Cruise's time is now and Mozika doesn't merit a start just yet so I'd stick with Manse and McCourt. Would bring Hawley off around 60 minutes for McCallum/Benyon as he always looks shattered. Azeez has to go up top for me. Seems like the most natural goalscorer out of all of them.

You've got Cruise and Tongue the wrong way round, but aside from that, you might be right. Of course, if McCallum is recovered, then Cameron misses out, Azeez goes wide and McCallum goes up top with Hawley (or Benyon).

Think we'd be stronger with Azeez up top as opposed to McCallum (based on stats). On a sidenote, my Chinese flat mates first game of football this Saturday. If someone could get a Chinese translation of Yellow Army that'd be grand.

I have a number of native Chinese friends, I'll ask them to confirm that TL has indeed got the right answer, rather than ordering a number 42 and an egg fried rice.

I guess now is the time to tell the story of the time I was forced to apologise for causing offence by have the phrase 'Yellow Army' at the end of an email signature. I sent an email regarding a trip to China to a girl (who wasn't Chinese). This email was flagged up as offensive, because of the connotations associated with the colour yellow and Chinese people. Fair to say my apology was neither heartfelt, not genuine. **** ing mongs.

Anticipation building for this one at our house. I can't promise to be singing yellow army in Chinese but I will be singing it one way or the other! Can't wait for this one and as ever I have zero idea which way this will go or what will happen in the game such is our inconsistency and disarray at the minute. Bury have a new caretaker manager who has come in and tried to instill a bit of belief and perhaps that will be the difference on the day in a game between two, not poor but struggling sides.

See you all up at Gigg Lane but I won't be able to post Saturday night as i'm out in Rotherham for the night. I know, glutton for punishment.

Rather worried reading the McCallum piece on the official site in which it says 'he'll be on the bus to Bury tomorrow'. Surely they don't drive all that way on the day of the match!
