My concern would be the forecasted continual rain over night, if we escape the worst of that and have a dry Friday we might be okay, Saturday morning to game time looks wet too

Mother had lunch with her friend today at No 10's, apparently the pitch looks in a pretty dire state and a guy who volunteers at the club said it looked doubtful.

Well, it looked in a pretty dire state two days before the Morecambe game! Much will depend on tomorrow's weather drying out the pitch sufficiently for Saturday morning's wet weather to have little effect. No doubt it will all come down to a lunchtime pitch inspection on Saturday to decide whether the game is on or off. 50/50 chance I guess.. :-/

If this game is postponed and Oxford beat Charlton we could find ourselves going 3 weeks between games.

Like the Barnet game last season, it will be off ? Water the pitch and some and it will be off. Save the game for when it really matters and keep the Hong Kong bookmakers together with Bet Victor and all the rest happy.

Steve Breed has said on Twitter that the game will be off. Gives Danny longer to impress, but Jayden's loan will be up........

Agree that the game must be in some doubt, but surely Jayden Stockley has only just re-signed for another month and so will be with us for another 3 weeks or so.

I was meaning that if the Cobblers game is off, & Oxford beat Charlton, it will be the 27th before we have a game & Jayden's loan will then be nearly up again (sorry to confuse you, fellow forum fanatics)

Damn and bugger it - not seen the forecast but if its raining on saturday morning it will be off - lets hope its an early decision. Really think we could have done with playing this one.
