I just hope we don't lose, if mcquilkin's in the squad then im not hopeful, a midfield of him and Richards will be overrun. Fingers crossed it won't be a total embarrassment, again
The gulls are going up
McQuilkin will be a starter judging from Hargreaves' pre-match comments. It read as if it's McQuilkin plus one of either Harding or Richards to me. Who knows, maybe all three? I would've liked to have seen Parcell recalled if his contract is up at the end of the season, as I've read elsewhere (had thought he had another season before I read it)gullno4 wrote:I just hope we don't lose, if mcquilkin's in the squad then im not hopeful, a midfield of him and Richards will be overrun. Rather surprisingly it's Chaney who has been recalled from his loan and could feature in the squad today....

Personally, I would have thought that recalling young Parcell might have been of higher priority given that he only has another few games left of this season to pull on a Torquay shirt, whereas at least Chaney has another year to prove his worth.
Parcell only got a 1 year deal and so is out of contract this summer and is running out of opportunities to prove to this Manager that he is worth a new deal ..

I couldn't care less who wins - what difference does it make. We are in tailspin mode.

Squad
Torquay United from: Rice; Dawson, Gueguen, Pearce, Downes, Ives, Daniel, Harding, McQuilkin, Richards, Cameron, Briscoe, Ajala, Prynn, Yeoman, Lavercombe, Ofori-Acheampong, Lavercome,Tonge. (Add Chaney in who has been recalled from his loan spell)
Would expect something like
Rice
Dawson Gueguen Downes Ives
Daniel Harding McQuilkin Cameron
Ajala Briscoe
The squad is rather depleted without Young, Bowman, Campbell and MacDonald, but SURELY we should be able to beat this lot at home! Really hope Daniel makes an impact and tears their defence apart. Cagey 1-0 win, mass optimism there..

I'm sure you'll be on here slagging off the team and CH if we lose though, despite what you've written above.
Won't be seen if we win though....

That's the spirit Brucie, the club is really lucky to have fans like yourself.brucie wrote:I couldn't care less who wins - what difference does it make. We are in tailspin mode.

if we win, he wont be on here later, if we lose expect another boring and tedious rant of the same order.
Anyway, shouldn't you be on the Exeter forum now as you are now a Grecian.
And its "you" not "we"

It is indeed, after the death of his 22 year old sister (as posted elsewhere)Admiral wrote: Good to see Duane back in the squad

According to HE, players were wearing t-shirts in support of Duane today during warm up. Nice touch. Best wishes to Duane and his family.
