If we get through then I do hope we get the winner of either of these ties, it could be nice route into the semi-finals for us.
Bradford PA/Nantwich v Stourbridge
Sutton United v Bognor Regis Town

That's what we said when we drew Basingstoke in the FA Cup as well. That was supposed to be a banker.

True but we were god awful during that time, playing some absolutely dire stuff and with no confidence. Now we seem to be turning a corner. The team sound totally different to the one before Christmas.

As Macclesfield are one of the very few teams we've actually won against this season, we really should be confident (but not overly) of getting through to the next round.... as for anything after that, we'll have to wait and see if all this new-found optimism has any effect(sp?) on the only thing that matters at the moment... the team.

LesLawrencesAfro, daveysbartab and Senor Ding Dong all in one post -great! But where's Bert?
Incidentally, moderator, do I get a promotion when my posts reach 700?

Macclesfield have lost their last three league games, but achieved what we couldn't and beat Tranmere away:
Tranmere 0 Maccs 1, Maccs 0 Halifax 1, Maccs 0 Aldershot 2, FGR 2 Maccs 1.

Their only other recent win was 2-0 against Truro in the FA Trophy, hence their upcoming visit to Plainmoor Saturday.
Who will win? It will be a closely fought game, and will be down to who wants it most.

Anyway, I'm going to put everything I have (£1) on the Gulls to win.. :scarf: :scarf:

I'd keep quiet about that quid, Scorer, your ex wife will have that off you in a shot.

Matt.

Was thinking the same seeing the forecast tonight

Last couple days have been really nice in Torquay, depends on how much of the forecasted rain we get!

Can't see a win; maybe a draw. Thus:
TUFC (0) 0
Macclesfield (0) 0

Att: 1181.

Bliddy 'ell, Wivel - you would usually forecast a score of about 0 - 7 !! You must be in a good mood after Whitby's victory last week which, off the top of my head, takes them out of the relegation places. ;-)
