Still time left I guess but I genuinely thought we could get a much needed win today. What a letdown.
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.
27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

It's not good enough. Another 2nd half collapse against a very mediocre team.

BBC Final Score are saying Reid has been sent off for a professional foul. What's going on?
We've put the ball in the net but it's offside.

1 win in the last 11. Can't help but think we're in for another relegation battle.

When we fail to last for 90 minutes, we are basically ****.

Can anyone on the Popside enlighten us as to what happened between LRT, Williams and some fans?

Don't worry everybody, Nico is still the man for the job. We're just unlucky.

I'm not disputing that - I actually think Nico is an excellent manager. He's just hampered by the financial situation currently, and the fact that the team seem to only last about 45 minutes.Burnhamgull wrote:Don't worry everybody, Nico is still the man for the job. We're just unlucky.
I'm hacked off by that, but then I'm also grumpy because I'm tired (getting up early to watch the cricket), so I'm probably not in the best frame of mind to be on here....I'll only end up ranting.

1490 in attendance today, down 300 from last Saturday. If this rubbish run continues I can see us hovering around the 1000 mark by Christmas. The chairman said recently that the club can pay its bills over the next few months, surely that prediction will have to be revised as the crowds continue to drop.
It is without doubt that any other person than Nicholson would have f*ucked off long ago. We are all angry and disillusioned as the club becomes increasingly farcical week on week but ask yourself where we would be without him?
I really hope something good comes this week and this brings some stability. I very much doubt it and the circling of the drain with impending disaster will become reality instead - but all we can do is hope.
Nicho is going to cop it over the next few days but not from me. How can he be judged when the circumstances and support he is receiving to allow him to do the job is utterly laughable?
The performances we are witnessing reflect this rather than his performance of a manager.

Just got in.
Absolutely dreadful.
Southport the better team, more lively, alert, wanted it more, we were lethargic, no pace, attack pathetic.
Only Luke Young, Courtney Richards and Ben Gerring came out of that with any credit. At least they tried as best they could.
Relegation battle on, and on that showing we will be relegated this time.
