Surely Bowman was never a credible signing. He's been playing regularly enough for Motherwell, so why would you give up playing in the SPL in crowds of between 5 000 and 50 000 to come here, given where we are in comparison and finances we could offer. You'd have to be mental to take a pay cut in order to set your career back.

I believe it was more about moving back for non footballing reasons.

Conor Riley-Lowe I believe is the man you are referring too. Paignton-born, played plenty of games for Truro but I have no idea how decent he is. Anyone seen him play?

Interesting that personal reasons are a consideration with Bowman. One for the future?

Not a rumour as such but I wonder whether Nicholson will consider a move for Keith Lowe. Freshly free after leaving Kidderminster having been in the Conference North team of the year. Experienced head, with many years at L2/Conf. level, and could be either CB or right back. If GG is off then this could be a realistic alternative..

Seems to have been a player to follow Paul Cox around mainly. I seem to remember we were linked with him under Cox, and I seem to recall the opinion was he blew very hot and cold so not fussed if this comes off or not

Dover have signed Toby Sho- Silva today so perhaps they have decided not to bid for Brett Williams.

Cannot see that David Fitzpatrick has found a Club. Would be a good signing in my book.

heard that we maybe looking at Lindon Meikle - he's just left barrow. plays as a winger/striker/midfielder and has recently been at Southport on loan and has played for Mansfield, Macclesfield and York amongst others.

Barry Corr released by Cambridge United. Scored 50 goals for Southend in 155 games. 6' 3'' tall and 274 games in his career scoring 77 goals.
Played 34 games for Exeter City before his move to Southend.

Worth signing? He is 32.
