Aldershot Town vs Torquay United 08.08.17
I agree with Wivelgull. We appear to be woefully weak up front with the worst forward line since Dean Mooney and Benny Laryea.

Aldershot 2-1 Torquay, I think Aldershot will be a hard team to beat for most teams this season.
Steady on, with posts like that, you will be the next member of the month
On Saturday when I was at the match, I thought our forwards looked a bit lightweight. Someone rightly pointed out, it wasn't really a fair test as Tranmere are strong and well organised defensively and most forward lines will have their work cut-out.

Excuse me ~ what sort of rubbish is that. Is it to be suggested that just about every side in this league will not be like that?

Tolerance...?
I think you missed the point. The variable in this 'fair test' being the Tranmere defence. Lets see how they get on tonight when the variable is changed. before people, like me make their to conclusions.

I think it is perfectly reasonable to say we shouldn't judge our forward line based on one game against Tranmere. I think it is perfectly reasonable to say you think Tranmeres defence is stronger than most we'll come up against this season. He hasn't said he has changed his mind about our forward line, just that he needs to see them in more circumstances against different types of defence before making an assumption. That, in primary school science, is what's called a fair test.merse btpir wrote: ↑08 Aug 2017, 13:24 Excuse me ~ what sort of rubbish is that.
